What is Pic2Map?
Pic2Map (pic2map.com) is a free service built on Phil Harvey's ExifTool. You drop a JPEG, it reads EXIF tags and — if geotagging was enabled when the shot was taken — plots the location on a Here/Google map with reverse geocoding (human-readable address). Without GPS it falls back to a basic EXIF viewer showing shutter speed, aperture, ISO and similar fields.

Formats & precision
EXIF stores latitude/longitude as degrees/minutes/seconds rationals (64-bit). The tool converts to six-decimal decimal degrees (≈ 0.11 m at the equator). Altitude is meters above sea level (GPSAltitude + GPSAltitudeRef). Heading is 0–359.99° (GPSImgDirection + GPSImgDirectionRef = T for true north, M for magnetic).
