Instead of juggling multiple tools, this universal checker automatically detects your file's type and routes it to the right reading engine: EXIF/XMP for images, container atoms for video, ID3/Vorbis/iTunes tags for audio. In all three cases it looks for the same signals: a C2PA manifest, Adobe Content Credentials, AI-generation assertions. Read-only — nothing is changed.

Every format has its own metadata location; the checker knows them all.
No file is ever modified, regardless of its type.
"Not detected" does not mean "guaranteed AI-free," regardless of file type. A watermark (visible or inaudible), a platform-side marking, or out-of-metadata proof escapes this read. A C2PA manifest can also be partial, outdated or inaccurate.
By the browser's MIME type, with a fallback to the file extension if the MIME type is missing or generic.
Images (JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, TIFF, GIF, DNG), video (MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WebM, M4V, 3GP, TS) and audio (MP3, M4A, AAC, FLAC, WAV, OGG, OPUS, WMA, AIFF) — up to 500 MB.
This checker handles one file at a time. For a batch of the same type, the dedicated checkers (image, video, audio) remain faster to run in sequence.
